About the Author

Barbara Klaus is an award-winning humor writer whose work has appeared in the NY Times, Newsday, New York Magazine and many other publications, and was a staff writer of the original Roseanne television show on ABC. From 1987-1990 her column Long Island Sound appeared in the Sunday NY Times. From 1991-1997 her Laugh Lines column ran weekly in Newsday. Barbara and her husband, Morty, who have been married for 63 years, have two children and one grandson.
