About the Author

Sham Moteelall was born and grew up on a family farm in Colonial British Guyana, now Guyana, South America. His ancestors emigrated there from India in the 1800’s to work on British sugar plantations as indentured servants. He became a science and chemistry teacher and in 1970, with two hundred dollars he emigrated Sham Moteelall was born and grew up on a family farm in Colonial British Guyana, now Guyana, South America. He became a science and chemistry teacher and in 1970, with two hundred dollars he immigrated alone to the USA to attend college.

He is now an agronomist, soil scientist and businessman. He spent decades working for major global corporation in various capacities. Currently he lives with his wife on their Minnesota farm, from where he manages his consulting business, LIFE Consulting LLC. His focus and passion are on promoting an all-inclusive approach to sustainability and on global environmental concerns.

Apart from writing, business, teaching and farming, Sham is a motivational speaker. His messages not only focus on business and environmental issues, they include helping people at various levels to become the best they can be and to strive towards excellence for themselves, their families, their communities, and their careers alone to the USA to attend college.
