ABOUT THE BOOK

A beautiful Amazon debutante in the Baltimore area during 1966 strikes back at abusive men Carrie meets.

She falls in love with an older man. She is able to share all of her misdeeds with this man who loves her unconditionally, despite all. He discovers he has terminal cancer, so he feels perfectly safe with her.

When he dies, she goes back to college and is discovered. She ends up in jail, awaiting her trial. The mob protects her because the Don’s female “right hand man” is quite taken with Carrie and has taken the fall for HIM.

Men die with the same M.O. involved, making it look as though the wrong person is in prison. Carrie has gone through such a metamorphosis, so much so that she is not the same person who committed crimes.
