THE AUTHOR

Lyla Faithstone is a domestic abuse survivor whose life and writing reflect a journey from silence to truth, fear to safety, and unanswered prayer to healing faith.
Her story is not one of instant rescue, but of endurance, clarity, and the slow work of restoration. Drawing from lived experience, Lyla writes candidly about survival, the lasting impact of trauma, and relearning the true meaning of love, faith, and safety. Her testimony affirms that abuse is never part of God’s design, healing is rarely linear, and real love is gentle, patient, and safe.
Grounded in faith and shaped by resilience, Lyla writes with compassion for those who have suffered in silence. She believes that no prayer is wasted, no pain unseen, and no life beyond redemption.
Lyla lives with her husband and is the mother of grown children with families of their own. She remains deeply grateful for the healing God continues to bring into her life and hopes her story will offer courage, understanding, and hope to others on their own path toward freedom.
Lyla writes under a pen name to protect her family’s privacy.
