What could our world look like if Jesus were to walk among us right now?
Imagine what our cities would look like,
Imagine what our schools would look like.
Imagine what our political systems would look like.
Imagine what our hearts would feel like.
I believe all of these are actually Jesus’ plan announced through John all those years ago. I believe that with a bit of work, we can truly experience Emmanuel walking with us in our cities, schools, and political systems. But it starts with us; it starts with our hearts. We have to prepare the way, and we have to be willing to do the work to make the path smooth.
My hope is that we will see that this is attainable and it will be some of the best “life work” you do. My hope is that it will yield all the peace and fullness your heart craves, for as it engages with its Creator, it can’t help but be filled with life, hope, goodness, and sweetness.
