The Author

Dr. Gregory L. Cruell holds the distinct privilege of serving as the 2nd African American Chaplain in the over 200-year history of the United States Military Academy, West Point from June 2000 – June 2005. In addition, Cruell served as the Ethics Instructor at the United States Army and Armor Center, Fort Knox, Kentucky from June 1998 – May 2000. His highest military award is the Legion of Merit.

He has a Doctorate in Leadership from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Master of Philosophy (Ethics) degree from Georgia State University. Cruell is also a graduate of the United States Army Command and General Staff College.

Cruell has been faithfully married to his wife and best friend Deirdre for 40 years. They are the proud parents of three children and 12 grandchildren. Cruell’s mission is to “Make A Difference Through Mentorship” and you make a difference one life at a time.
