ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Laurn Smith was born in south Mississippi and attended Mississippi State after high school. He got a degree in Chemical Engineering, and spent several decades in engineering design work. Most recently, he was Director of Engineering of an international company and owner of a small engineering company in the United States.

His first venture in writing a book was on how to have fun building a home. The current venture came about because of a detailed dream and was in a totally different direction. This book is a murder mystery with some romance added to help the male hero work through some of his life problems. He also need assistance to find a way out of a developing situation which eventually turned into a planned murder.

This book was intended to be a one and only book because the source was a dream. However, immediately finishing the book, a sequel came to mind. The sequel involves the couple from the first book and deals with some serious issues close to the author’s and his wife’s hearts.
