Barbara Ann Rittenhouse Benninger grew up on a farm with many dogs and other animals who all lived together in harmony. Her whole family came to rely on the dogs to be their eyes and ears and protectors on the farm. Each one of the beloved dogs had his or her own personality and voice. She currently lives in Florida.
