Dearest Jesus take my hand
and guide me down the path you’ve planned
and if I fall or ever stumble
remove my pride and keep me humble.
Let my eyes see the way you see
and let my words be yours in me.
Help me seek you day and night
to pray that you will be my light.

Poetry is an art form that allows us to paint with our words.

In a debut collection of inspirational poems and illustrations, Marion Grace Jeffers lyrically paints images of faith, prayer, hope, relationships, heartache, love for family and friends, and the joys of God’s nature. From northern lights to a prayer from a dorm room and to fall leaves and letters of love, her poems invite others to reflect on their own unique perspectives and relatable experiences. Also included are several poems written by her aunt, Lolete Falck Barlow.
