Kay was smiling, appreciating her cousin\u2019s compliment. Stew had always been there for her, even when they were younger. Today, she played a bigger part of Kay\u2019s life by moving into the house with her and helping out with the bills. Hard times fell hard on Kay all at once; the police had killed her daughter\u2019s father Jason\/Jay, and her mother suddenly died from cancer. At the tender age of twenty, Kay definitely had her hands full. The rest of her family was not as supportive as Stew.
