King David was a godly man, but he also committed great sin. He spent years feeding his lustful appetite until, eventually, in a moment of unbridled lust, he committed adultery with Bathsheba, the wife of Uriah. Then, to hide his adultery, he murdered Uriah and took her to be his wife. Perhaps you are familiar with this story. But have you considered the many spiritual lessons that can be learned from David’s wrongdoing, spiritual lessons that can be applied to your own life for the purpose of growing in godliness?

In David’s Adultery, Luke Tully explores the sin David committed, the cover up he attempted, the repentance he later showed, the consequences he faced, and the forgiveness he ultimately received from God. Let David’s story serve as a lesson and an encouragement to you. Let his story inspire you to walk in daily repentance of sin and to pursue the life of holiness that God desires for each of His children.
