Her story is about this journey of having a specific learning disability. She shares ways she learned to jump the academic hurtles along the way and how her mom came up with creative ways to help her survive during difficult times.

All of her life her mother, now 97 years old, encourage her to write this story because Evie struggled 19 years before specific learning disabilities coined as a term in law. Evie\u2019s dream to publish her book, while her mom could see her wish come true.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Evie was diagnosed with a specific learning disability in the 9th grade. Against all odds, she got married, had three children and to date eight grandchildren. She also finished high school, went to c\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n
