My late husband, Donald M. Toney was an extraordinary man who lived many lives within his time on earth. Most of his friends called him Toney. After working with Toney for over four decades, I have the privilege of bringing his teachings to this book. Here is a small snapshot of the remarkable life that he led.
Toney had many experiences throughout his life including serving our country in Navy intelligence and being a bodyguard for General Eisenhower and President Roosevelt. He also participated in daring rescue missions, being instrumental in bringing Germany’s premiere rocket technology engineer, Wernher von Braun, out of Germany in the midst of WWII. His distinguished career earned him numerous medals and honors. Following the war, he was invited by the Dalai Lama to spend two weeks with him in Tibet.
In addition to his deeds of service to humanity, Donald M. Toney was my friend, husband and spiritual guide. I met him in 1978 and began studying his teachings at that time. He continued to be my teacher, and teacher to many others, for the rest of his life here on earth. He was a very special, wise, gifted and loving individual. I took classes with him and helped transcribe his lessons. Often we went fishing together. He was a master of many skills including being a fisherman, electrician, inventor and builder.
He taught many, many students over the years. We became close friends. Later on, toward the end of our life expressions here, we were able to be married. Though our marriage was short, it was a great privilege and joy to have been with him. He said toward the end of his time here that the Father had called him Home. I told him that I would continue our work with the great teachings of Truth that he and his master teacher Ida had brought forth. I also said that I’d do my best to get at least the first of his many books published.
