After serving 35 years as an educator in the New York City Public School System, Laurie Nearon, a student and teacher of life, dedicates her time to inspiring others to more fully awaken to their own inner wisdom through poetry workshops and consciousness studies gatherings. She is a martial artist and an avid outdoor enthusiast who loves camping, hiking, kayaking, whitewater rafting and nature photography.
