Celia has grown up her whole life in the overcrowded city of Tressel, where her Christian faith seemed to have no bearing on everyday life and ambition. Within the privacy of her family, she has loved God and gone to him with her dreams and her troubles, but never has she had a friend that she could talk to about this inner life. Then suddenly, in a matter of days, her whole life is turned upside down when an opportunity comes for her family to move near to other Christians. During harvest time in the country, among the fellowship of the family of God, Celia discovers the joys of true friendship, hard work and feeling as if she matters.
