Anxiety and fear can shatter our confidence in the sovereignty of God. Pause for a moment and look up. There sits the King on His throne, He who “upholds all things by the word of His power” (Heb. 1:4), the Almighty who reigns forever (Rev. 11:7). Look to the sky! See the face of God shining even brighter against the backdrop of the world’s darkest night. Open your Bible for a new understanding of the One to whom the angels bow, crying, “Holy, holy, holy…” Worship the King, for He is worthy!
