The Oars of Our Lives

The Oars of Our Lives is the outcome of an endeavor that has evolved over many years to discover how to live a purpose-driven life through Jesus Christ. The hardest part of this undertaking has been to free the mind of preconceived ideas and prejudices as it pertains to the simple yet profound and effective message of the gospel and the power of the Holy Spirit to change lives, free of academia, as opposed to those who would view this novel approach as lacking theological depth and debate.

The Oars of Our Lives was born of an insatiable desire to garner as much as I could of the knowledge and thinking of leading Christian Pastors and scholars. I desired to learn their Theology of Ministry, how they came to it, and how it formed their pastoral ministry. I aimed to project Jesus Christ into the center of the human experience and allow His message of love, faith, security, and purpose to reach the searching heart. I aim to present a realistic, rather than an idealistic, view of Christ and a consequential road map that leads the searching individual to the words of God.
