Every child deserves to feel valued and loved. It is being our unique selves that makes us special. When I Look in the Mirror tells a story that illustrates how every person has “imperfections,” but there is so much more to a person than being a socially acceptable form of beauty. There are many people we love that may not be good looking or have exceptional talents, but they are still beautiful because they are the people we love. Similarly, every child deserves to feel they can love themselves because they are their own unique and special person.
